Gratitude Award - Changing Lives for the Better Through Podcasting
Podcasting is global! You could be podcasting literally from your closet and influencing a worldwide audience, changing lives for the better on the other side of the world. To celebrate the internationality of podcasting, the International Podcast Day Gratitude Award will recognize a podcast, business, organization, or individual.
In 2015, the first ever Gratitude Award was presented to Katy Bowman of KatySays. The reviews Katy received were amazing! Her listeners shared stories of how her podcast literally changed their lives, helping them eat healthy, and meet their wellness goals.
In 2016, Karo Martinez of Espanol Automatico was the winner of the second annual Gratitude Award. Karo’s podcast helped individuals around the world learn Spanish as they prepared for travel adventures, new work assignments, and so much more.
In 2019, Podcast World Tour was the 3rd winner. They hope to impact podcasters, fans, and companies to bring awareness about the nonprofit Auditory-Verbal Center and the work they do each day to teach children with mild to profound deafness to listen and speak without relying on sign language or lip reading.
