Founder & Chief Storyteller, Tracey Nguyen Mang is a first generation Vietnamese refugee, who came to the United States at the age of three with her mom and two sisters. She has more than 20+ years of experience in business strategy and management consulting prior to starting her own podcast, Vietnamese Boat People: stories of hope and survival and resilience of the Vietnamese diaspora. The show is about tragedies and triumphs, marginalized voices and multigenerational experiences.

The Vietnamese Boat People podcast has organically grown to a listener base from over 10 countries with a community that is emotionally connected to the mission of the show. From one founding member, we have grown to team of 15 dedicated volunteers made up of students to experienced professionals and countless contributors to our social media, blog posts and events. As a community, we share the passion to amplify these stories that have been marginalized as part of world history. In this session, attendees will gain low-cost tips and ideas for connecting with audiences outside of the podcast and ways to engage, interact, and build an international community.
