Geopats Language Podcast
Stephanie Fuccio is a former Language Instructor who took to podcasting to explore topics that she never had time to discuss with her students in the language classroom. The result is the Geopats Language podcast, which is where she has so far interviewed language learners and native speakers of mostly Mandarin Chinese and Japanese about their language learning experiences. Moving forward, she hopes to chat with learners and native speakers of more languages with “funky scripts” like Arabic, Korean, Thai, Japanese and so on. There is also a Geopats Language YouTube channel where she documents her own language learning process. Geopats Language is part of the Geopats Podcast Network which includes Geopats Podcasting, Geopats Coffee, Geopats Books and more. As you can tell, she is obsessed with learning and sharing information with her listeners. This sharing has led to other ventures such starting Podcast Review Day (#PodRevDay) and HearShare Productions, where she provides podcast coaching, editing and other related services.
September 30 @ 10AM-11AM PDT – Language Learning (not teaching) Podcasts From Around The World
Language podcasts are a very popular category in the podworld and while many of these podcasts are teaching languages, there is another growing kind of language podcast that we want to share with you today – language learning podcasts. These are podcasts about the language learning process, often as the guest and/or host is learning a language. Our panelists all have a language learning podcast but with different styles. We want to share these with you and inspire you to start your own language learning podcast.
