Miss Soy is a 29 year old young woman, born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She currently resides there. She has two undergraduate degrees in Mass Communications and International Political Economy and Diplomacy along with a Masters Degree in Global Development and Peace which she obtained from the University of Bridgeport, in Connecticut, USA. She currently works as a Public Relations Manager at a non-profit in Haiti, is also a news anchor for Television Pacific and co-hosts a Podcast (Ti Chèz Ba The Podcast) with a group of friends. Miss Soy is a part time professional dancer, she’s a Carnival addict and loves to travel. The youngest of four girls, Miss Soy is also a Cat mom, to her baby kitten, Tofa.

In this session, you will hear from five Caribbean podcasters from different Caribbean communities discussing – 1) the impact of podcasting in their country/community, and 2) the challenges and opportunities that podcasting presents. Podcasters will also dive into the future of what podcasting looks like in the region.
