Mama Director’s Life
Hello! I’m Mocaasan. I am a web director in Aichi, Japan. I have a 16 year old son. Every day, I record and deliver about my work and childcare on my iPhone. It’s been a year since I started a podcast. Shinichi Sato, a podcast teacher, taught me how to get started. Podcasts are a new world for me. It is very fun and I am looking forward to presenting on International Podcast Day!
September 30 @ 6AM-7AM PDT – Creating a More Exciting Podcast Experience in Japan
Mocaasan, in her first year of podcasting, and Shinichi, in his 15th year of podcasting, will talk about Japan’s podcast situation and the gifts that podcast give to the region. Compared to their Western counterparts, podcasts are still relatively underground in Japan. It’s not widely recognized as a medium, but there are signs that it’s about to take off. Tune in to hear about what’s going on in Japan, what’s in store for the future, and how the community can help you create your own podcast. Let’s make the podcasting experience in Japan more exciting. This session will be in Japanese!
